  • Sold my PCR -- Moving on to Corvette Forum

I recently sold my 20K miles, PCR. Enjoyed the car, but also wanted a C5 Corvette before my time is up, (we never know when that will come). So I bought a 1998 Corvette coupe. The reddest RED I have ever seem.
Thanks to all of you folks from this site, who have been helpful to me, the passed few years. I am no mechanic, but you never failed to give me enough info. to repair my car, myself.
So, thanks to all, -------- a good sit!e--- good people! --- enjoyed my time here!

One more question. Is there an easy way to remove my info/account/etc from the site?

I have a copy of the 2004 Owners CD. Has operator's instructions. Not an original, but well made copy, including the porthole picture on the cd case. Anyone want it? PM your snail mail address! No charge. A Thunderbird nest member gave it to me --- So I will pass it on. ------------------------------------------CD is no longer available!

There's no need to remove all your info but if you must, the easiest, fastest way is to insult one of the TBN owners...

Guess this is something like me buying a new motorcycle at age 68, life is short so go with what you like and want.

I was in my red car today when the officer told me to put my hands on the wheel where he could see them.

I wish you all the best with the new ride.

Had a 90 black C5, enjoyed the car and it gave me no issues. My only complaints were I got negative attitude(aggression)from other drivers on the road more than any car I ever owned and When I went to a cruise in it it didn't stand out because there were 100 other corvettes there. Enjoy it!!

My first car a 1949 Ford with a souped up Merc. flat head, was that color and it worked. Every cop in Orlando knew it.

Good luck with the Corvette. You'll find Corvette forums populated with the same bald old men vicariously reliving a childhood they never had.

True but they have 30 year old girlfriends.

Owned many Corvettes of 4 generations of the car. They consistently got better 'til they are the best bang for the buck in a true (IMHO) sports car.

Ya know you gotta let your hair grow a little so the comb over works. Also a gold chain or two is a requirement.

Owned first plastic car in 1971 and attended my first local Corvette Club meeting. Introduced to two gents who looked at each other and the one looked back and incredulously asked "You drive your car?" Also the last Corvette meeting I attended.

Makes no sense as I loved those cars but I truly like the Bird better. You will enjoy your car. Good luck!
