I just got a 57 bird. In todays gas market what type of gas would you use?
I don't have the answer Dave. If I was lucky enough to have your "problem" I might hit the Classic Car place on 35 just South of NB. They must have some good ideas as to what you can burn in that beauty.
Can't say I've owned a 57 Thunderbird, but I've had plenty of classic cars. I've always just used regular 87 octane gas.
There is non ethanol gas available most everywhere today,, but if the classic is a high compression muscle car then marine gas or an octane booster would be even better.What our retro's recommend will work in 99% of street cars today.
17 in total ? I think I'd be hard pressed to afford the water bill to keep all of those beauties washed and cleaned, but what an amazing problem to have!
