    A great private Thunderbird collection

    Today our local Thunderbird club had the honor of viewing a private collection of 1955,1956, and 1957 Thunderbirds. The collector has one of each color from all three years. Some colors I had never seen. Of course he also had a nice collection of 2002 - 2005 Birds, eight to be exact.



    Yes Paul he has a red one.





    A great collection of the old ones.



    The Inca Gold.



    The Dusk Rose.



    Two nice colors.



    A real beauty, Thunderbird Gray, I had never seen this color.

      Obviously, a collector with exceptional taste!
      21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

                    Gene, at nine, I wonder if that is the largest known retro collection in the country.

                    Bet it's some ole retiree from GM with good taste.

                      It's nice to admire a collection after the fact, but I always wonder how it happened. Was it a great master plan or did it evolve sort of accidentally? Either way it's one heck of an investment both in purchase and maintenance and display. It is wonderful that people can,, and do,,, this.
