I know my premiums are high and I could cut some corners
but a couple years ago I was rear ended and basicly car was totaled. Driver was under insured and USAA came to my rescue ( so I'm paying for that now)
The time has come to renew my insurance (4-1 2019) Time to say good bye to USAA. I'm switching to Geico for a savings of $ 569 per year.

Gene, I have Grundy on my two Thunderbirds for a stated value of $20,000 each. My premium last year was $578 total for both cars. I figure $20,000 is enough I could buy another if I wanted; but with 2 cars I would probably just pocket the money and enjoy whichever was left if something happened to one of them.

Are these rated for daily drivers? Bring the policy on the 30th and we will discuss.

No Gene. The rate I quoted from Grundy insurance was for my 2 Thunderbirds which I use sparingly as collector cars. I have a 2017 Ford F150 Supercrew and Virginia has a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLA 250 SUV which we use for our daily transportation.
