You better have a pile of bucks to buy anyone of those.

Out of my league for sure, but I do love looking at them and the excitement they generate. If I can find a 60's muscle car that is not a restored piece of garage jewelry, but just a decent cruise night car, I could be a player at $20K or less.

          Always wanted a real factory-lightweight Trans-Am car.
We're lighter. We're faster. If that don't work, we're nastier.
          We're gonna make history.

Wow Look at the MoPar muscle. The streets in Orlando were covered with cars like these in the 60's. Many Central Fl Dodge - Plymouth dealers sold race ready cars back then. I can't believe how many people I knew back then had one. Most had stickers imbeded in the windshield saying not for street use, but only minor changes were needed to make them legal. These cars ruled Spruce Creek, Kissimmee, Valcaria, and Thunderbolt dragstrips.

Received my buyer and guest tag in the mail Friday along with three full color brochures with lot numbers, pictures and specifications for the three days we will be there. Nice package.

There are a lot of cars going off without reserve which will make it interesting. Anyone
looking for a nice car with a 20K budget might be pleasantly surprised. No Hemi's in this
range but some nice cars to take to the local show.

Pretty interesting prices considering all are pretty common and plentiful. Don't see one L.E or rare color.

A few coming this weekend IE: Cashmere and couple 007's. I'll be there Thursday to Sunday. Also a 10% to 12% buyer premium on those prices depending on how they were bought, either at auction, internet or phone.

I agree...we'd love to go to B/J in Scottsdale, but they've priced the gate fee beyond our pocketbook...used to be able to walk-on and enjoy. Some 30 years ago a mutual friend took me on a tour of Mr. Barrett's garage at his residence in Paradise Valley (or was that Mr. Jackson?...can't remember now) - at that time he owned the MB that once belonged to Eva Braun, plus several other cars that would be 'priceless' today. But that was back when I had all my hair and lots of dreams.

Today a 2005 EB with the red/black interior and red line tires sold for $25,000 including the 10% Buyers commission. It was pristine with only 25,000 gentle miles on the odometer. A 2005 Corvette Convertible Red with a Tan interior and automatic sold for $23,000. including the 10%, it had 65,000 miles on the odometer. But, hey, getting good money when the mileage is reasonably low and the car is sharp. In addition, that Corvette sold new for almost $60,000 with the equipment it had.

Have you checked into the cost of a Bidder's Pass? Brian Metzger and I have been going to Mecum in Kissimmee for several years now. If you order a Bidder's Pass for $100. you get free admission for you and a guest, entry into areas of the arena where only bidders can go. Free large full color books for the 3 top days of all the cars being offered are mailed to your home. Contrast that with General admission of $30/day per person. Breakeven 2 days.

I just checked the B/J site and found out that they force you to use a Credit Facility they are involved in, rather than your own Credit Card as mecum does. Greed is expanding, won't be long before Mecum does that too, IMO.
