A very nice looking car. But something strikes me as odd. The select shift transmission is not 02 but the dash gauges look 02 and yet the dash and door trim are not 02. Is this a hybrid or rebuilt car? Interesting?!
This retro has some serious mods along with some ho-hum ones. The ho-hums include the chrome tail light bezels and the logo mats. Of real interest to me is the unique grill with the single bar that ties in with hood scoop. Next is the side body chrome I've never seen. And how about the exhaust through the bumper? Not sure on the dash chrome or the SS. The car under the hood indicates an 02.
Interesting car - thanks for pointing it out, Rick. Considering the thousands of dollars in mods the price doesn't seem that far out of line if they can find a buyer that likes them.
As usual around here, speculation runs wild when a call to the owner could clear everything up.
Perhaps one of our local members should call them up and invite them to bring it out to Pappasito's next month. It would give us something new to look at in the parking lot.

It's a one off, apparently for the SEMA show. Lots of things I like and based on what whisper whites did at Mecum Kissimmee it seems to be a good value.
Yeah, why would anyone go to the trouble to change the trans to a '03+, change the engine to an '02, remove the heater seat switches, and change the instruments? A lota work for something different.
