Stereo Speakers

An '03 I bought recently has an upgraded stereo.

There is a supplemental amp in the trunk, a big "woofer" there too and it has Infinity speakers in the doors (I haven't looked behind the seats.

What are the stock speaker and are the "Infinity's" supposed to be good speakers.

The stereo really booms.

I don't use the stereo much, but I'm thinking of pulling the "upgrades" out of this car and swapping them with my favorite (although I'll lose some trunk space).

Have any of you gone this route or what's the best thing to do with the system now that there are so many electronics choices available?

Are you happy with the sound of the system? If you are why change it.

Factory speakers are pretty good, Infinity makes an excellent speaker also.

Also speakers tend to disintegrate with age so years may be better than original.

I have Infinity speakers in my WW. They sound good. The OEM rear speakers are tweeters only and the door speakers carry all the base. I have a lot more base sound now with the Infinity's in the rear.
