We pulled into the garage in Sebring at 10:10 tonight. Even though I wasn't feeling the best during the weekend I still enjoyed driving on the track and the wine tasting we did and seeing old friends and meeting some new members of TBN. To the new-bees, this is just a taste of what an event is like.

Re: Check in for PAPPASITO'S 2017
We made it home in record time also. I think it took us longer to get out of the parking lot at Pappasito's than to drive the rest of the distance home to Woodstock!
Thanks to David and Jeannie and all others to plan a great week end. We always enjoy seeing our old friends and meeting new ones.

Re: Check in for PAPPASITO'S 2017
Home at last, home at last......thank GOD we're home at last..........after buying a new car in Columbus, Georgia this morning and a 3 1/2 hour sales transaction!!! Just walked on the door at 10:30 tonight. No wonder nobody likes to buy a car at a dealership! We bought a Buick Cascada (convertible) and what a great car it is! Karen had to drive the T-Bird all the way home to Sarasota today following me and she is not a happy camper! Maybe some flowers tomorrow will sweeten her up.
Great Pappasito's weekend AGAIN! Special thanks to Jeannie, David, Donna, Steve, Michael and Debbie Flynn, and Rhonda and Jeff for all the fun, fun, fun activities you planned. We learned so much about FDR and Warm Springs, Georgia! So great to see old friends and meet some new ones. See you all in Wisconsin.

Re: Check in for PAPPASITO'S 2017
We are officially home from Pappasito's XVI !!! Leave it to us to turn a 3 day event into a 9 day adventure. We've got a lot of thanks to pass around for those that made our trip so memorable.
First, thanks to our ever faithful caravanning buddy, Bill. After almost 15 years it is still a pleasure my friend. We had a great time going to the Tupelo Automobile Museum with you. We also enjoyed the little off road adventure our GPSs sent us on.
Next, many, many thanks to Jeannie and David for their excellent event planning skills and most importantly for inviting us stay in their lovely new home from Tuesday thought Saturday nights. We enjoyed it thoroughly and always look forward to returning the opportunity in the near future.
Likewise, a special thank you to Donna and Steve for hosting us for two nights after the lunch at Pappasito's. We really enjoyed the relaxing visit after a busy event in your beautiful home that Steve so expertly built for looks and comfort. Also, many thanks to Steve for the fun ride in the ThunderVette for the errand we had to run. We also look forward to hosting you next month
Even though they won't read it, I'll also throw in a thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for a very nice Valentine's dinner, a good visit and the place to lay our head.
Also want to throw in thanks to Mike (redfire1) for setting up the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Marie for setting up the lunch at Allan Vigil Ford (biggest dealership I've ever seen by far - never dreamed a car dealership would have a café --- and Rosetta particularly like the test drive in the new Lincoln Continental), Rhonda and Jeff for their help with the event and Donna and Steve for their input as well.
I only hope everyone enjoys Thunder In The Ozarks next month as much we did this past 9 days.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !
