Narrowed rear end? Those were the wheels I was looking for before I bought the American Racing 5 spokes. They give the impression of motion. Wow there was a Red 03 offered here for 5K and then add Alex's black mobile for 4k ..and for under 10k have a reasonable start on the Ron Award...

Greg , those were custom built wheels, I doubt they wwould fit under your fenders.

Did not notice that until you mentioned it...had to go back and look. Thanks for the post.

What the heck is a "Narrowed rear end" - wow - that opens a can of something - and those really are ghost flames - you can barely see them

Narrowed rear end means they narrowed the rear axle so the wider wheels wouldn't stick out.

Kinda hard to do with an independent rear suspension using short/long arms and coil springs. No rear axle to cut down. Moving suspension pick-up points would be interesting as would changing suspension geometry. Our cars Jaguar suspension has very good geometry to begin. If someone swapped out IRS for a solid axle that makes the entire car undesirable.
We're lighter. We're faster. If that don't work, we're nastier.

I sure wouldn't buy it. Wonder if the whole 3rd member was replaced. The engineering skills in today's cars don't take old school mod's too well,,, as each component is dependent on another making the whole vehicle a "unit" No room for imagination any more!

I liked the 007 Bond '03 and thought $20,000 was well-bought. Last time I saw one sold at a mecum auction it went for $33,000. (2016 Kissimmee).
