Well after I got off work my wife and I opened the garage door and jumped in the T bird to go for a bite to eat. We were setting at a red light I could see the place we were going to stop and eat just ahead on the right. Large truck with a grill guard was close behind me. All of a sudden I feel "BAM" I'm still waiting for the red to go green. I jump out thinking my car was mashed in the rear. The guy that hit me was out and apologizing to me looking at my car saying everything good? I say NO, but I felt relieved only my chrome strip around my license plate was scratched some and slightly bent in. So lucky I thought to myself. He called his insurance company while I'm there. I took all his info down, he took mine telling the insurance company he was with. He had cancelled his regular insurance and had his insurance through his company he worked for. Trucking company with his truck leased to them. He told me he will probably lose his job because of this but offered to fix himself. (Ex body man) He has ordered the part and I wait for it. Trying to be a nice guy, if he will fix it I won't bother his truck firm insurance. Only thing is they know about it.
That makes 6 times I have been hit in the rear while setting still 5 at a red light. Of course its happened with other cars I have had. One of them twice at the same red light.
