To me the whole numbering thing is just a gimmick. The 007s have been showing price strength compared to others. There's plenty of room left for negotiations on this one.

Right, The number assigned is determined by the guy affixing the plates on the glove box door when he reaches into the stock box and pulls a plate. Still they kinda follow in sequence to build order. If someone can come up with the VIN for this '# 3' I'll see how many were built before it....
When given the option Halle Berry chose a black one instead of a 007.

"Daytime running lights" listed as one of the features. Either this was made for Canadian export but had the block-outs replaced with SPLs ... or someone did the DavidA jump-wire job on it. ----Will (publicity manager, DavidA fan club)
Halle is my kind of gal! I heard that Will got replaced as DavidA's confidant. There is only one self proclaimed Chairman of da Bird...Hard Boot Dave..

from extrapolation of #'s 004-009, I would make an educated guess that the vin for #001 to 003 are 1931, 1932, & 1933 since #s 4 to 9 are in sequence from those 3 #s.
I wonder if there's a significance to the vins 1931, 1932, up to 1939 in relation to the movie?
Probably the only significant numbers are 001, 007 and 700. That's only because they would be cool to have, not because the cars are any more special than the other 697.
