The VIN for the topic of this thread, the claimed #3 of 700 007s is 1FAHP62A23Y101933. That means there were between 8 and 12 units built before someone on the assembly line put the #3 plate on the glove box. I may be able to tell by digging deeper but it is entirely possible that the first three units built on October 14, 2002 were not assigned a plate until regular production began on these units in January - those first three VINs were out of sequence with the other 007s - just like the first two Neiman Marcus units. Dot's educated guess in post #13 was spot on - she predicted this VIN for #3.

those first 3 in Quickdraw's list may have been used for promotional purposes for the coming of the movie Die Another Day which debuted on Nov. 22, 2002.

If the first 3 did not have a badge, then my 007 is Badge #15 and the vin is 101945. That would make mine match the vin number and badge number.

At Kissimmee, in January of 2016, a 007 with 12,000 miles and pristine in every way sold for $33,000 with the 10% Buyer's commission. The bidding went to $30,000. These low mileage James Bond Thunderbirds do bring good money at auctions. I haven't seen a high mileage one at an auction yet, it would be interesting to see the price difference.
