It's a rainy day around northwest Georgia, in and out all day from reports. But I am going out for a spin and see the town.

Re: Thunderbird Appreciation Day
While on the way home today from church in our Retro here in Sarasota, 5 Classic T-Birds and 2 red Retros passed us going the opposite direction. We made a quick u-turn and caught up with their caravan as they continued onto Casey Key where all the BIG MONEY here in Sarasota lives (including Stephen King). After enjoying the cruising for about 45 minutes, as the group approached Venice, we turned off but drove up next to one of the '57's and they said they were with the "Trailbirds Club", a chapter of CTCI out of SE Florida. Great fun T-Birding on a hot and sunny day! Looking forward to Wisconsin in 2 weeks!!!!!!

Re: Thunderbird Appreciation Day
Great day for T-Bird sightings. Our classic club had a run with 16 Birds from 1955-1958. But on the way home spotted a TR then a LIB both on HWY 9, north of Lake Stevens. Waved and got big smiles and waves back.

Re: Thunderbird Appreciation Day
14 members of the New York Early Bird Club went out for a cruise through the Schoharie Valley in upstate NY. We has our NM and were joined by 5 classic T-birds, and a 50th anniversary Corvette (their '56 was on the lift and our '55 is still hibernating) At the end of the cruise we had a nice dinner and returned home before the rain came.

Re: Thunderbird Appreciation Day
Greetings to all, The Palmetto Thunderbird Club of Charleston, SC meet as a group @ one of the local Sonic Drive-ins And all enjoyed a cool shake, burgers, ice-creams, etc. We had 20 Thunderbirds show up. Year 1955 thru 2005. Most of the birds were the Retro & early birds. Sonic gave all car members free drink cards for showing up & a free meal to the best displayed car which was a '57 Bird. The local newspaper even put a plug in the paper for our club under Cars announcing the outing. All had fun and enjoyed them selves. Looking forward to next year already.sigpic
