You'll probably need a new changer. Poor design too many moving parts. Last one I bought was around $250...never leave CD's in the machine for any long periods..good luck

The usual cause is the laser malfunction. It’s an easy fix—search online for a nearby repair facility, costs less than a new unit.

LA Phil posted info. It worked for me yesterday. Insert a CD into the slot about 90% of the way. Then, pull it out. I'm a new member since yesterday so just learning how to search and post.
