  • My car in the TOTM slot for June

Thanks for posting the photo of my WW car. It is one of my favorite shots of that car and I am honored that it is on display on the home page.

TOTM is no longer unless I can find out what is wrong with the program. For the past two years there has been a big lack of interest in this. I am tired of asking for pics for this. I'm not in a hurry to get this up and running again. I think age of the car and the site have added to this. Only the older and regular members seem to care or like this feature.

Spence, Is there anything I can do to assist you with the TOTM situation. Is there a way I could relieve you of this monthly activity.

I truly do NOT want to see TOTM go away. If the entry numbers are as low as you claim (I have no way of knowing) maybe some of us can come up with ideas to get more folks involved. The number of voters does seem to imply there is interest. I do not believe the age of the owners or their time with TBN or the age of the Retros have anything to do with the interest in TOTM. For example there are thousands of calendars out there for sale of cars from brass age. And other time frames.

Please let me know how I could help.
      Mike

Mike, I agree with you. TOTM is an important tradition on TBN. Those that participate enjoy it very much and the work Dot does on the calendars is the kind of extra that has been the hallmark of TBN members for 20 years.

Spence, as Mike said, if there is anyway we can help just let us know. As for participants, just put up what you get. If it's just one, then they win. If it's none, just pick one of the recent 2nd place finishers - your choice. Hopefully, folks will get the hint.

Like I said, I'll give this another try but no guarantees.

Any updates on the status of TOTM Contest? It's been a month since the last update!

I'd guess that CTCI is not the only club losing membership. I got a 'free' three month membership..we'll see
