We have fond memories of our TBN Skyline Drive cruises. A little surprised it didn't make the list.

Most folks probably wouldn't think about Oklahoma for the list, but the eastern 1/3 of the state has some pretty nice foliage. Our problem is that it does not stay beautiful long and it's hard to predict when the weather will change enough for the process to begin, so our peak color is different just about every year. These shots was taken here in town last fall.

You mean when they turn a color other than red?

Yep - brown and then they are on the ground.

We do get yellow and orange, but last year the red seemed dominant. If we don't get some rain soon, they'll go directly to brown this year.

If you want to see beautiful colors, northern Ontariio, Canada is one of the best places. We have even opened the borders for our US friends.

Yesterday we did a 180 mile cruise around Northern Minnesota top down to view the colors. Was a little disappointed as it's been so windy this fall the leaves get blown off once they change color. Plus the severe drought hasn't helped. Top down driving in 86 degree weather was worth the time.
