hellbrunn bordet.jpg Hellbrunn was built by a man 300 years ago that loved play with hes guests, he told every body to not raise during dinner and at asignal hes helper started springwather in the guests seats. the park was full of wather surprices he must have bin a funny guy with alot of money there were no wather pumps at hat time

My wife and I stayed in Salzburg in 2010 before we continued on to Munster, FR to meet up with 5 other Thunderbirdnest.com members. The hotel we stayed at was on a closed street that had my GPS going nuts. Every time I got close it had me turning left and right trying to get to the GPS coordinates. After about 20 minutes of this, I hailed a Taxi driver and he said "follow me". I had to park in a lot about 500 yards from the hotel, get registered and get a code to lower a post into its hole, so I could drive up to the front door and unload my rental car. Crazy!

By the way, October fest in Germany and Austria is held in late September, who knew!

Yes i its not easy to find there, our GPS showed us wrong too.. there is tree streets with same name and they are ca 25minutes from eachother we picked wrong...

Regarding the "Oktoberfest", I was told by a German that the reason they hold it in September, because the French think it is in October, so they avoid them that way! Funny, but probably not true, just trying to have the longer days in September.
