In my e-mails to Mr. Biddle after I got over annoyance of his putting it out there like it was his doing, I came to the realization that this is all about members getting the info if they want it. So if a member uses it it's just one more item out there in the T-Bird community. I enjoy doing them but how is a member going to use it? The link that I hit on was only a read only version . Does the member using this have the ability to change the data to fit their own car. Each MY is different . Is the member going to change the model year only and think that the 2002 data gives them accurate data for their 2005 car? Not only does each model year change both the verbiage and numbers but each special edition is a major change. Don't even ask about the Canadian versions. We've never professed that these dang things were perfect but we did operate on assumption that there would be no guesses that only substantiated format and data would be used. We never did deviate from using substantiated data. Many of you have contributed data from your own original window stickers and the group is eternally grateful. I've said more than once that this project would have died on the vine if it wasn't for massive amounts of effort from both Harry and Dot.

Many members think these things are virtually useless but the feedback from 400+ members have indicated that they enjoy having the info in their T-Bird documentation. Many display at car shows and tell us about the many conversations started because of them. Of course we'll continue to do them free of charge for any TBN member.

I don't think Mr. Biddle realizes the effort he is getting himself ready for to have accurate data reach his members. I hope he does it so that a bunch of erroneous data isn't being used and shown at car shows etc. Hope it works but as I will not frequent his site, so I guess I'll never know.

      • The method used here on TBN is far better & done among good friendships.
What Bill does here for all of plus the many hours of input from Harry & Dot is way better than the other site. My hat is tipped to the 3 of you. Many thanks to you guys from both myself and all my T-Bird friends that I know you have helped along the way.

Time spent on the Biddle site is getting less & less. Being there was interesting but now has gotten very distasteful.

        • Somehow Mr. Brittle has my new email and continues to send me unwanted correspondence. To cancel I'm supposed to log in and go to preferences. But now I need a password and am told to look in my mail for a code....nothing ever comes through....

          • These were the last two posts that I made on Mr. Biddle's site. The debate mentioned was Harry's telling the world that this info was stolen/pirated. Thanks Harry! The first post was telling the world that Harry and Dot Lang were instrumental in setting this up. Mr. Biddle has it set up that Dot Lang's name was changed to his own. I still want as many members from as possible from whatever site to get the info if desired but I also want the world to know that Mr.Biddle has done nothing to help this project. I find the automatic changing of Dot Lang's name to his to be the ultimate sleaze.

            First post
I don't want to get into the above debate. I have (with Harry Sharp’s and mike biddle's help) provided 430 of individualized Moroney Labels.

            My concerns are:

Mr. Biddle's link that I hit was a read only version . Does the member using this have the ability to change the data to fit their own car. Each MY is different . Is the member going to change the model year only and think that the 2002 data gives them accurate data for their 2005 car? I've said more than once that this project would have died on the vine if it wasn't for massive amounts of effort from both Harry Sharp and mike biddle. (Typed was Dot's name--automatically changed to his name --How sleazy!)

Many members think these things are virtually useless but the feedback from 400+ members have indicated that they enjoy having the info in their T-Bird documentation. Many display at car shows and tell us about the many conversations started because of them. Of course we'll continue to do them free of charge for any member who sent to my e-mail (which Mr. Biddle has blocked). Sending to my e-mail makes this infinitely easier to process. I get data, change to the individuals unique data and then just have to attach a file to your original submission and file it as completed in my records. Much easier for me.

            Good luck and Happy T-Birding!

I don't think Mr. Biddle realizes the effort he is getting himself ready for to have accurate data reach his members. I hope he does it so that a bunch of erroneous data isn't being used and shown at car shows etc. Hope it works.

            Second post
Typical but the above post listed a member's name (Dot Lang's) which was automatically changed to Mr. Biddle's name. Sleazy IMHO. Mr. Biddle has provided no help in this project. But I'm sure this post will be deleted so you'll never see it.

            • Be aware, MB is NOT LaPhil. MB does know how to use multiple email addresses among other things as some of you have found. MB does monitor this website on occasion. MB has not bothered us (TBN) for years as TBN did have an agreement, sort of, to go our separate ways and leave each other alone. Sorry that you have now found out one of the reasons why members here left his site (in mass) many moons ago (like in mid 2002). That is all I will say on the subject. We need to get this thread back to it's original purpose.

                • Paul recently mentioned that we are always finding new members. Posting this to let them know they can all get a facsimile window sticker free for the asking. Also should know about Harry Sharp's (Quickdraw) info for the history of their car.

Harry and Dot Lang ( as well as many of you providing original stickers) were instrumental in getting this project off the ground. Thanks to all.

Let your new acquaintances know about these two places for info.

                  • Gentleman thought I could work with the last 6 digits of his vin only.

                    09:19 PM
Hi Mike that last 6 numbers in the Vin refers to Harry Sharp (quickdraw) as a Ford retiree being able to get much info on your car for you. If you ask he will get and you can cut and paste the info to me.

You can get a facsimile from me by sending your request to me at at coat1971@aol.com. I need full vin, year, colors and options. Get the info to me at the e-mail address and
I’ll be happy to make you number 432 to get one.

                      • After all these years I became curious as to why it has that name. Those of you that already know can skip clicking on this link. I'm guessing at least Paul will know as he (not Paul) was a senator from Oklahoma after-all (oddly enough it applied to more than just red vehicles). The rest should just read on about Albert Stillwell 'Mike' Monroney.

Rusty I do believe it was Senator Win Dow Sticker who served in Ohio in 1836-1837 who insisted that this label be on all wagons pulled with at least 6.5 Horses.
