They did not sell new Tbirds here in Germany.
Or let's say not officially from Ford.
I bought the Tbird as a used car from a private person some years ago.
I saw another 2004 Tbird last Saturday offered from a local SEAT dealer. Kind of mint green colour. But the Hardtop was grey. And the dealer said that the car was painted in the US before it came to Germany. The chrome frame of the window was also painted. Strange.
And I checked the VIN number and it said ....3Y.... which means 2003 !
I think the last digits were 09218. Would appreciate if you could find out the original colour for this car for me.

With all the discussion in this forum about the chrome surround on the windshield, it is great to see an example of how it looks painted the same color as the car. Not bad...looks pretty good!

Yes, does not really look bad.

But could be an indicator that the chrome was rusty
or was flaking off ! ?
That's what I could find on the chrome wheels.....

It was originally a Mountain Shadow Grey and has the standard black interior, SST, and 7 spoke chrome wheels. It was sold by Verner-Cadby Ford, Fairfield, NJ on 3/31/2004 after being on the dealers lot for 51 weeks.

What can be the reason ??
Must have been something wrong with the car, I assume.

After so many weeks I may find some spiders or snakes or scorpions or alligators somewhere inside......
