From Harry: Your 2005 Premium, Inca gold body and hardtop, white interior, SST, 7 spoke chrome wheels is one of 13, yours was built on 7/1/2005 (the last official day of Thunderbird production) - so.... yours really *IS* one of a kind.

Yours is the highest VIN for any inca. As a matter of fact there were only seven 2005 Thunderbirds of ANY color with a higher VIN than yours. VIN 5Y109337 was the highest Thunderbird VIN, and this silver car was the last Bird built, and went into a Ford Family collection.

Now, Dot has the rare one, one of four or even less.

The "one of" number I will give you is how many cars were made like yours. Things like rarer colors, unusual body and hardtop color combos, lack of hardtop, lack of color accented interior, lack of SST (for the 2003-2005s), and deluxe instead of premium model are factors that would significantly reduce the number of cars made like the more typically built units.<o:p></o:p>

Thanks Harry, It's real interesting about the build dates. The car was built in June 2001 and arrived at the Rail Head early Aug 2001 with a Hold. Car went back to Wixom for the Cooling fan pump fix and arrived second time at Rail Head in Amarillo on 10-9-2001. The VIN Data tag on the door jamb and the Oasis I got in June 2001 both show build date 06/01. When came back from Wixom Oasis said build date 8-5-2001 but the VIN Data tag on door jamb was not changed and still says 06/01. So I have two documented build dates.

John- Just points out they are ALL rare, and pretty birds. I am glad for my color combo as for me the all black is too much black. I'd be willing to bet you this title will be a real BIG one!
Also,what is interesting to me, is how many TBN'ers are posting that haven't been visiting in a long time- a good sign. Also out of curiosity, I've read on Dot's site about Justin who started this forum, is he still around? (I hope this question does not cause a problem) Leaving tomorrow for the Peak!
