Thank you for questioning my data and sorry for the error. As I went across my Microsoft Access database table I did slip down a line and Sold Date, Invoice, Description, and One Of was actually from another VMG - Here is your corrected data:

If you have the window sticker check that because it absolutely left the factory with 16 spoke wheels. Are your current 7 spoke wheels the 2002-2003 style or 2004-2005 style?

For those familiar with MS Access, I have created a QUERY to retrieve only the relevant data and no other data, to eliminate the possibility of this type error.

Thanks for revisiting the data, Harry. I had heard the dealership had a hard time selling it, so that revised sold date looks more fitting. The wheels are 2004/5 style. Maybe they swapped them out to another customer's TBird who liked the 16-spokes better, while it sat languishing on the lot. I do not have the window sticker, but I may stop by the dealership and ask what records they have.

Premier did have two other Tbirds with the 2004-2005 7 spoke wheels on their lot at the same time yours was there.
They were both Merlot and one sold on 11/15/2003 and the other sold on 11/24/2004. If the original buyer of your car didn't swap out the wheels himself one of these could have your 16 spoke wheels.

My understanding is that there may have been three 2002 birds used for the J.b. 007 cars and one was wrecked on a carrier on the way south. If this is the case, could it have been either VIN 100440 or 100443 ? Also, would these units have been stripped and put back in line for paint and interior re-assembly or changed 'off-site '? I have some pictures that show 007's going down assembly and it would have been 2002 Birds as the sets that are shown indicate yellow inserts on the other models ahead of them. Possible they could have been early 2003 007's as I can't date them any other way.

2y100439 & 2Y100440 were both yellow and built on Monday 5/14/2001 but they had black hardtops. 2y100443 was yellow, yellow hardtop and partial yellow interior but was built on Wednesday 5/16/20.

If you have photos of a 007 on the line with other cars with yellow inserts then they apparently were sent out for coral paint and returned for additional work. Were the photos of completed cars or "in-process" Can you post those photos?

So, 439 and 440 were built on same day as 441 and 442. was their 'sold' designation also the same as 441 and 442 or more so with 440 ?

Snowbird, yes the sold information is the same for most of the 102 vehicles built before June 1, 2001, the official start date of Thunderbird production. I don't see any differences between 439 and 440. When Dot comes back she can probably shed light on the Bond pre-007s.
