Good Morning my FRIEND Harry Sharp.! I was so looking forward to meeting you in KY, but due to a major robo of our home in Mexico $$ is really tight. Your return on TBN has been well received as it should be. I cannot help noticing that most of the 'low' numbered cars are those without a hardtop or missing Parking lamps. As you pointed out my Black Beauty is rather rare and is a PREMIUM model. I also see that Marc has red/black upholstery for sale and the Ebay ad says 2002-05. I thought the 02 models had softer leather? Anyway, while we return to the scene of the crime, Black Beauty will be seeing the dent-man but more importantly getting the roll and pleats done on the door panels..and Charlie I'm glad the retro shirt fits you well. I'm closing in on a post average below 4....boy it takes a long time....

When searching for a Thunderbird in 06, I decided that EB was going to be the color I wanted along with all Black interior. I had never seen a partial colored interior, only full. I also wanted SST and the 17 spoke wheels and of course, the EB hardtop. I found one, an 04, at a Ford dealer in Kansas City with about 30K miles on it and a small dent about the size of a quarter. They wanted 29K for it, I offered 27K if they fixed the dent, they said no. I found the car I have now on EBay in a Mercedes Benz showroom in Lancaster, Pa. It had 7K miles on it and was perfect, it was the first time I had seen a partial interior and the machined 17" wheels plus it had the SST, but no hardtop. I ended up getting the car for 27K cash and it was still under the 3yr/36 warranty. I found the MSG hardtop a couple years later.

Jerry's Ford apparently ordered it and sold/traded/transferred it to Stoner-Wade Ford after Ford delivered it to Jerry's Ford and of course the window sticker wouldn't change after it left the factory. I didn't give you MSRP, I gave you the invoice price - what Ford billed the dealer (Invoice: $36,997.30).
