The INCA probably was faster, I like it anyway. But, getting back to odometer mileage, I'm with Ron. Cars last longer if they are driven regularly, not parked. That doesn't mean a car with 300,000 miles is better than one with 100,000. But if you drive it once a month around the block and then take it on the interstate for a week or two, watch out. It's a little like sitting on the couch for 6 months and then trying to run a 10K mini marathon. I have almost 94,000 miles on my '05 and it never ran better than it does right now. I was so confident of its good health that I just spent $1000 on a new set of Borla mufflers and pipes. Now it sounds as good as it runs!

In acceleration the Inca Gold is noticeably faster and with slightly better gas mileage. They all ride, run, and handle great.

If I could ask your opinion please, do you think high mileage is an issue if it was maintained as the Ford manual outlined? So many talk about those COP problems...I thought if I could get one where they've already been replaced, I would be ahead. Especially since the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty has gone by. I love all the colors, but that yellow just pulls me in....
          Respectfully,
          cashmk
The 02s weren't covered by the COP extended warranty anyway, so that shouldn't be part of the equation. As for the COPs - if the ones in there are all original (which I kind of doubt), they and the spark plugs have exceeded their expected routine maintenance point. I'd be prepared to do the COPs if you buy it and/or negotiate the cost of the COP replacement in the final price. Otherwise, the mileage shouldn't be a huge factor with good maintenance records.

There are others here that would disagree, but then they would probably be the first to complain when something on their 14+ year old garage queen fails because it only has a few hundred/thousand miles on it. Old cars break (so do new ones for that matter) You can enjoy them by driving them or by looking at them in the garage, but in the end they are still old cars at this point.

Yes, it left the factory with a hardtop but apparently it got separated before you bought it.
