Yes...you can cut them. I'm working on trying to find where I purchased them. I had the plugs as I said, but now looking back on my notes and posts here I was working on a way to just put the top on and off without having to unplug anything. If you notice on one side of the top there is a contact that works the rear defroster. The other side is a dummy. I had ordered the parts from Ford to make the other side a contact that I was going to wire into the tail lights the same way the plugs were wired. But I sold the car and never finished the project. I'm sure it would have worked though.....I probably still have the parts somewhere.

Yes..I gave pretty much everything to the new owner when I sold it. Even some show award plaques. I did my best to keep it nice, and it seems the next owners did also. Glad to hear it, and glad it went to someone who understands what the car is about and will preserve it as much as possible. Enjoy!! Oh, and keep me posted if you do anything else to it. I see someone took off the chrome tail light bezels. I liked it with them on. Also, are the porthole lights still on it? It looked great at night with the portholes lit up.

Yes, the following owners after you took excellent care of this car - don't believe it was ever driven on a wet/dirty road - underside is as clean as the top! As far as things I've done to it: Put Michelin White Walls from Diamondback on - 235/55/17. Removed the Borla exhaust tips and replaced them with stock looking tips - just didn't like the big Borla tips. Removed the mud flaps. Removed the CAI - - didn't care for the drone/noise it made. Sure was glad the PO still had the original intake and also had the original exhaust system in the event I ever want to take it back all stock. Yes, the porthole lights still work - but I'm not out much at night in it so don't get to enjoy them so much. They do really look nice though.
Not really planning on changing much else. Just really wish I could find some GOOD custom rubber mats in a grey color to compliment the interior. I don't like using the carpeted mats and black just doesn't look good in the car in my opinion. I ordered a set from Weathertech that I think I can dye to a suitable color. We'll see.

This car is no longer owned by Bob & Gerry Fraser. Bob passed away a few years ago and Gerry has kept the car in storage, never driving it. This past fall she sold to our friends
Dave & Sheila O'Byrne of Kelowna, BC.

The car is in storage until Spring, I will see it in late May and get you additional info if you need it. Here is what I have as of today.

So sorry to hear about Bob. He was a very nice guy. He helped facilitate our Thunder West By NorthWest group attending their local Thunderbird club's annual picnic/car show back in 2011, greeting us as we came off oc the ferry from Vancouver Island and leading us to the location. We were treated as honored guests and had a great time.

We've lost so many fine members over the years that we have been blessed to know.

Thanks. . uh, his handle says PCR 863, name and location match what Mike posted so I will go with that number since he's not around to say otherwise but if Mike asks his friends who now have the car and they say the number is really 836, then I'll fix it on the list. ( I have seen other mistakes with numbers in the past when owners pick their handle).

PS - just checked the registry I downloaded in 2015 and it matches the vin# that Mike posted with PCR 863's handle. Maybe Mike was a little dyslexic?
