Thanks Quickdraw. Yes it does look sharp! I bought it new a few days ago, and I can't believe that no one snapped it up before now. Lucky for me.

        NeilPA,
You've got the second most popular combination with 1,257 made. Thats 10 percent of the total 2004 production. The only more popular combination is if you would have gotten the 7 spoke wheels and yours would have been one of 1,322.

                Tony,
                You've got one of 788.

No, I wasn't welcome at Thunderfever and for the last several months have even been locked out of all Thunderfever threads.

Yes, the Wixom tour will be June 1. Joanne (Ylo Brd), Steve Legel and Alan Goodman will make the hotel and restaurant arrangements and will probably announce it when they get back from TF.

                sjt1950,
You and Tony have the same car except for the wheels.. you do have the painted wood shift knob (black accent)?

your Silver/Silver/Black Accent/SST/16 spoke machined wheels is one of 641. Your VIN is missing the last six digits - give me the complete VIN and I'll tell you what day it was built.

Quickdraw...............give it up about Thunder Fever. You were as welcome here as anyone else. The decision for you not to come was totally and 100% yours to make.

As for the Thunder Fever threads, as I understand it from the Justins, your demeaning remarks about the upcoming event resulted in your being locked out of the threads.

There is a place for off the cuff remarks on this forum and that place was NOT on the Thunder Fever threads.

There was plenty of time BEFORE TF to let me know I was welcome. Its too late now. Did you take me of ignore? Can I list the series of your actions that told me I was not welcome to TF? How long before that would get deleted and me banned? For example do the TF attendees know why they had to sign the "registration warning" or get escorted out? Do they know when and why you put me on ignore? Do they know I asked for a truce and was rejected? Do they know the lies you've spread about me?

As you well know the reason you had the justins lock me out of all thunderfever threads was a comment I made to JerryP. Jerry was soliciting for Thunderfever and said "you won't find one person who won't welcome you." My total reply was "Ouch Jerry that really hurt and you know why." This was "demeaning"? To who? Was so horrible to cause me to be locked out of all 100+ TF threads? And I even asked to please let me back and I was told "you aren't going to Thunderfever so have no business reading about it."

Then two months ago I asked Ken for a truce because I really wanted to come to TF.... he refused, he said he didn't have time to answer until after TF.... does he have to time to say yes or no yet?

I suspect you feel you've built up enough goodwill with the whole excellent Thunderfever event that you feel you can attack me in public and everyone will rush to your side... you're probably right, but you will not get away with telling people I was welcome when you did everything in your power to keep me away.

I will not take you off my ignore list, nor will I continue to debate this dead issue with you on our public forum.

If you would like to privately debate ANYTHING with me, feel free to email me at bclarke@tcigroup.com.

But please understand, if I pick up on (or am told about) any public attempts by you to initiate further confrontations with me on the TBN forum, I will no longer sit by and allow you to flame me.

It is mostly impossible to compare the two cars, however, one test drive in the T-Bird I was sold. Horsepower - their about the same 280 vs 287hp, but all else is quite different. I could write for hours about their two distinct personalities. Regardless, the T-Bird performance and overall build quality is very good surpassing my initial expectations and this car seems to deserve much more credit than what I often see written about it. I love driving this car, the whole package seems just right to me, a few quibbles, but I have never owned a car without a few quibbles. Thanks again.
