Paul, I'm sure you're freaking out right about now saying to yourself "holy *@it I bought an old fart's car" Few things to keep in mind, most of us bought the cars new and at the time they weren't cheap. 2nd is that a lot of us are from the 55 - 57 era and have always wanted a 2 seat T-bird, some of us have both - a 55 - 57 and an 02 - 05. Fear not though you have stumbled upon a group of the nicest and most caring people that at least this old fart has ever met in his life. Oh an having you as a member of our family gives us that wonderful feeling of not being out dated.

Bruce, Ole Guys is not necessarily a bad thing: older, wiser, and no worries of them being seen wearing their pants down around their thighs with their behinds hanging out of the back or a doo rag on their head.

Black socks with plaid shorts though is another matter ...

Joe, fortuantely I have none of these traits with the pants and shorts, however, hopefully I have grown wiser as I grow older. Now back to .

Joe, "black socks and plaid shorts" - You forgot that you must wear them with sandals. You are correct in that the black socks must have priority if you are wearing shorts and preferably they (socks) should be over-the-calf.

50 the new 30, humm, maybe between the ears, this over 46 guy has 2 day hangovers, can barley make it home from work with out stopping to go to the bathroom, is both near and far sighted, has aches and pains after washing his truck. 30 ah to be 30 again (physically anyway) - stayed out until 3am and went to work the next day on a regular basis, drove to NY to FL only stopping for gas, played on 4 softball teams during the same season.

There are several that have already inherited their parent's retro t-bird. Just came across a woman the other day whose father died a year and a half ago and she couldn't see parting with his bird since he loved it so much. So, she's driving an 03 desert sky blue and enjoying it.
