  • Time to get this thing back on track, so I'm going to jump in with a new challenge.

Let's make this challenge a little different -

Post a picture of someone else's Thunderbird that YOU TOOK because you liked the setting or just thought the car looked particularly good at the time. Here's a couple of examples of ones I've taken:

Merle & Don's Cashmere on top of Mt. Washington

Ron & Liz's Dusk Rose in Juliette, GA

    TESE 01cc.JPG

    or as an alternative ...

Post a picture of another TBN member's Thunderbird that YOU DOWNLOADED because you particularly liked it. Here's an example of one I've saved:

Sam and Nancy's beautiful 57 and 02 in a field

Heck, if you have one of each post them both.

    • This one belongs to a friend of mine. I don't believe he's on TBN though. I just like the picture. VTCI Pic 2.jpg

              • A couple of more good ones - keep them coming.

                Here's another one I've kept - a great shot by Mark501!

                • Where are all of our retrobird photo takers/lovers? I thought everyone would have a bunch of pics that would fit this challenge. Because I don't like dragging these out forever, I'm going to pick the next challenger tomorrow. So, get your pictures in.

Here's another example of one I took of Rosetta's sister's car during the Pikes Peak event:

Heres one of Ron and Liz's red with black, I like this combination and the red on the centre caps make it pop. This was at the Northern Getaway event in Walker Minnesota August 22, 2019. This was just one more great TBN event, I sure hope we can get back to having these types of events again soon.

                    • A photo from July 2018 with my navigator behind the wheel of Ron's Vintage Mint Green. Another example of his helping hand when a TBNer had issues with his TBird. ..... PS.. in spite of the smile on her face, she did not look into purchasing one for herself.

                        • We ended up with some good one's to choose from. One stood out the most to me and that was Jim's pic of Peter's car during Amish Thunder. A nice picture indeed, so Jim you'll get to pick the next challenge.

Before we move on I thought I'd take a minute to show you what is possible with the photo editors on most of our phones that can really enhance our photos. I chose Jim and Randy's pictures for examples.

                          1. With Jim's, the primary things I did were crop out the extra cars, straighten and sharpen the image.

                          20210417_230346.jpg

2.. With Randy's, I straightened the image and cropped it into a landscape orientation eliminating a lot of sky from the picture.

                          20210416_130306.jpg

The fun thing about the photo editor is you can make changes quickly or spend more time to fine tune it to just what you like. In the end you still have original as well. I really enjoy experimenting with the whole process.

Dot, cool picture with the dash reflection in the sky.

I appreciate all the other participants as well.

Does this mean most of the photos you post are full off crop?

                            • Paul, I also use the editor to crop the pictures of items I list on ebay. I should take some time and learn what else can be done with pictures in the computer.
