These are the most recent and apparently the "requester (s) " don't know either.

I don't know either Greg.....They show up in my message area like above. They have an accept or decline box to pick from. I have just been ignoring them. Perhaps Spence can shed light on what they are. I know I am not popular enough for anyone to want to single out my posts that's for sure, Although I have had a few members ask me if I would stop by Pappasito's on Sunday for awhile.

I suspect it might have something to do with "following" someone on facebook.

Following means you will see any public posts that person makes on facebook, which is different that becoming a "friend" of that person on facebook, who are then able to see their non-public posts which are meant only for their friends or friends of friends.

It's a new feature of the vBulletin that we have now.

You can read about it in the "HELP" tab at the top of any page on this site. Then look in the left hand column for "facebook connect" , click, and read more about it.

Scratch that, I see we can "subscribe" to another member's posts. Never clicked on that. Just did it to RBIRD. Might pick on a few other members, too. Let's see what happens.

Not quite, Spence, I followed directions in the Help section for the "facebook connect" and couldn't find anything in my profile section that related to "following" anyone. Maybe the facebook connection is not enabled?

or is it something that would show up if I allowed facebook to connect to any of the sites I use (which I don't).
Just not into letting too many connections flourish on the internet.

or is it the ability to subscribe to another member's posts?

I just tried to suscribe on Dot's profile. I got a pending message. I assume it's waiting for Dot to allow me to follw her posts. Similar to subscribing to a thread, but it requires permission.

When I looked on Ric's profile it said he had 3 subscribers which would jive with what he said.
            21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

Paul, I guess between you and Dot you figured it out. Funny thing is not one of three members in my original post had any idea that they made a request.
