Hi all... still researching car covers the Bird; any input on what is best (lightweight but not too expensive?) would be greatly appreciated; thanks much. Happy Trails !!
Birdee, If you're just looking for a dust cover, not a rain cover. I went to carcoverkingdom.com. I just wanted a cover for my car during the Winter months when it's parked in my garage to help keep it clean and protect it from scratches. My biggest concern was how it fit, I didn't want a one size fits all generic cover. The cover I got was just what I wanted, it's soft and fits perfectly. And yes it has the mirror pockets. They custom make these covers so it takes about 6 or 8 weeks, or mine did. They offer free shipping and for about $20.00 bucks you can get the TBird logo on it. I think I paid about $150.00 over a year ago. They also have weather proof covers too. Leroy
Purchased one form California Covers on line. I use it every day. It stays put in wind. Keeps water / dust out. Very light weight and I got the two tone color to aid in puting it on in the right direction. For twenty bucks extra they embroydered Thunderbird on the front. It's a great cover for around $200. 02 bird still looks brand new.
