Re: Rear convertible window delamanating
You will see a line across the top of the window between the window & the fabric part of the top that supports the window, it looks like a bubble and is about a half inch wide and runs all the way across the top of the window. I have been told by a top pro. there is no fix for it. Replace window.

That had started happening to my 02 TR bird before I traded it in on the 05; I was told it could be fixed, but it would be pretty expensive. When Itraded it in, the dealer said they could fix it. Don't know what or if they did.

Re: Rear convertible window delamanating
Chuck: Probably some portion. Under Exterior, it says (glass and housing)with service adjustments. Whatever that means... Maybe someone should ask Lou. He seems to know all about these.

Under the "not covered" section is:
Exterior
Service adjustments (glass and body parts), bright metal bumpers, door handles, glass, moldings, ornamentation, paint, rust, sheet metal, structural underbody framework, sideview mirrors (glass and housing), water leaks, wind noise, weatherstrips, wheel covers and ornaments, convertible top, fabric, liners, zippers and fasteners
From my 35 years experience in the insurance business delamination of glass would be consider a "wear & tear" exclusion as well. I am sure you will find the same thing with the extended warranty since it is in essence an insurance policy.
I am not saying not to ask the question because even I have been wrong occasionally, but be prepared for this condition to be declined for those reasons.
