  • Did You See That 55 Bird Out There?

Yesterday I drove over to one of the local coffee houses for cup and while waiting in-line to order I over hear someone say to another,"Did you see that 55 T-Bird out there? Its in great shape for its age.

As soon as I got my coffee I headed for the door, I wanted to see that great looking 55 T-Bird that was receiving such nice comments, maybe catch up with the owner.

To my surprise there wasn't any 55 T-Bird out there, just a beautiful medium steelblue 05, mine.

I walked out to it with a great big happy smile

Mike, it's just unreal the amount of the general public that just doesn't have a clue or our bird's design just hit it. I have tried to add to the look by putting what I call the 1955 chrome and emblem package on my hardtop. It has all of the chrome that the 1955 had with the Ford crest by the porthole. Again, how can you not just love "The AH Factor". Dick

The most common question I get is "What year is it?". So far I have resisted saying "Prototype 2012" ...

If we rarely drive them, keep them as queens, pamper them like children, they will always be a mystery and appreciate in value. It's like "Who was that masked man?"

Ah, sorry people, the WeirdBird is my daily commute - of course not many people recognize what it is...

                  Alex,
I can envision your bird leading a stealth caravan attack of 30 Birds from the West Coast to TBN's 10th Anniversary --Nashville Summer of 2012 Event. You need to dress as Darth Raider

Now, hold your horses one year, Roger - How about the stealth Bird making it to Texas next spring, first? much closer and more from CA might just make it. Now...

ps, Alex, I like your sense of humor.

                      Stealth Bird! I love it!

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure what kind of reception she would get, being as far from stock as you can get without a welding torch.

To lead a caravan would honor indeed, problem is, I'm directionally challenged at the best of times, so it would quickly become a mystery tour.

Just head east I guarantee SugerBabe will let you know if you get off course. And Yes, Dot is correct. If you are directionally challenged you need a trial run to the big Kerrville Texas event next Spring.
