Great looking bunch of pics, Vickie! It's great to see those Hallet pictures up there.

How do you know you love your T-bird?

        1. We still have it! It would take way more than it is worth to buy it.

        2. A ton of collectibles, diecasts, and memorabilia featuring Torch Red T-birds are displayed in our home.

        3. The hall in our home from the foyer to the master bedroom is called "Thunderbird Alley". The walls are covered with pictures, posters and prints featuring our car and other Torch Red T-birds.

You mean your not? When did that happen?

What is really important is that you are young at heart, full of fun and adventure and have a passion for life, people and Retro Birds.

              Never change SugarBabe!

Age is a state of mind and anything that can spark such youthful passion is not an indulgence so much as a tonic for the soul.

              As for knowing how?

I dedicated an entire room in my house to all things Thunderbird. I filled my book cases with mostly Retro Bird die cast models of all colors. My prized possession is a large limited editon print that Ford gave all attendees at the 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Dearborn of the Ford design studio showing the development of the Retro Bird beautifully framed with a set of bird wings mounted on the picture frame meant for the trunk lid.

The last time I took her out for a little drive before putting her to bed for the winter I told my wife that I was going to give her a little run....be back in 20 minutes!

4 hours and 200 miles later I had to re-gas her before putting her into the garage to add the gas stabilizer and put the cover over her for the long winters nap. (The Retro not the wife!)

              It must be love !

It is really hard to identify with "putting her to bed for the winter". We did 240 miles with the top down last weekend. Forcast for today, "partly cloudy, mid to upper 70's" Sure could use some rain though . . . Took it out of the garage in the middle of the night to see if I could take a picture of the elcipsing moon reflecting in the hood. Didn't work . . .

You decide to take the Bird when you drive to Saturday brunch. In another state.

Yes, don't you just love those buildings with mirrored windows, but be careful that you don't rearend the guy in front of you doing the same thing because occasionally the light turns red while you'er looking the wrong way. Crunch!

You will be surprised to hear the even we can get 90+ degrees from June thru September and factoring in the humidity we will be darn hot here too.

Now if I could just find a way to grab some of your winter warmth. Or perhaps you could do a guy a flavor and voluntarily send some up? Sharing, that would be the Christian thing to do ya know?

Gord, One year I did the reverse of that. We were still living in Pa. and we just got a big snow. Everyone in the south was on my case about the snow. Well, that was the week for Pappasito’s and we were planning on driving down for it. Couldn't bring the Bird because of the snow so we drove the F-150 4x4 down to Atlanta. Right before leaving Pa. I got out my biggest cooler and filled it with that white stuff. Put it in my covered bed and headed south. When we finished dinner down there at Pappasoto's I dumped the cooler in back of two Birds in the parking lot. Everyone got a kick out of it.
