  • My Poor Bird

She was very happy living in Florida in my garage. Now that we moved to Massachusetts, she sits in the driveway, braving the elements, ice cold because we have no garage for her to sleep in. Most of the time we use our Jeep because of the snow. Maybe I'll buy her a cover. I guess she'll be one of those birds that don't migrate.

    Happy Holidays everyone.

I hope you had a conversation with her before the move so that she doesn't think she's being punished! Poor thing could develop a phobia.

      Re: My Poor Bird

      PM me...

I Live in Massachusetts and keep my cover on it every night, so I'm constantly taking it on and off. The cover that came with the car when I bought it is custom sewn to the t-bird with pockets for the mirrors and everything. Only problem with it is it's not super water proof, so when it gets wet and then freezes, it turns into a stiff board which is not easy to take off and fold every day. So I bought a new cover that's more water proof, although not custom fitting. The old one would be great for you to put on it to keep the ice and snow off if it's just sitting there. Maybe we can work something out.

There is nothing good or rational about living in Massachusetts in the winter for man, beast or auto. You must become a true yankee and keep repeating " If you can't take the winters, you don't deserve the summers"

Have you ever been to Michigan in the winter? They don't get much worse, so get out and play in it! Ski Doo MXZ 800, driving 8 hours to the Upper Penisula for some fun in the snow!

Like Rich said, get yourself a couple of toys and embrace it. Sure love that white stuff. We have it in Wisconsin too!

Wellesley. Car has no traction in this snow. It's useless when snow is on the ground.
