Thunderbird Nest Well Represented in Lake Pine Labor Day Parade
Fellow T-Birders:
I was coaxed out of my flooded cave to participate in one of the 3 remaining Labor day Parades in the State of New Jersey. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to be chosen to drive the diminutive Miss Lake Pine Jr. in the Lake Pine Labor Day Parade!
Crowds lined the street cheering the tiara-crowned little beauty all the way down the wide expanse of Taunton Blvd. The trusty steed, Cashmere, with Miss Lake Pine Jr. on her saddle, moved effortlessly through the throngs, all while she performed a flawless "princess wave".
It was all I could do to hold back my sheer excitement and focus on the critical duty I was assigned to perform... get the young Princess to her due place at the Lake Pine Colony Club.
Well... it was a great reason to clean and wax Cashmere!
