Marc, if you can not register your bird under your name let me know. I might have to go in and delete AZTBs then you will be able to register it in your name.

careful about that BirdWings as AZTB has an Inca Gold registered. and Marc just bought a black 05. Actually Marc says his data did show up though the registration process didn't say that - and it is posted under his handle.

Dot, I was not going to delete anything unless they were having trouble with it.

Thanks all, the registration "took" - the '05 is presently on line 669 and in Georgia on it's way from Phoenix to us...

Sorry this is going to sound silly since so many have already registered. But I have two simple questions:
              1. Is there any danger in giving out the VIN#?
              2. How does the VIN# help the registry?

Jim, I have the OEM black molded plastic license plate mount that was removed from the front of my 02 Bird. Glad to send it to you if this is what you're looking for. -- Bob

When we bought the web site the registry was already set up. I do not see anyone misusing the vin numbers from the registry and the site has been around since 2002.

                    Re: Register Your Thunderbird!

A few years ago, I printed out a list of all the Florida members from the master TBN member list. Can't recall how I did that.

Now I am unable to isolate the Florida members to update my list. Has that function been removed? I do not see an icon for that operation. Help!!

                    Thanks.

Hi Tom, I sent you a pm, but I don't think the info you're lookin for is in this area.

I use the Advanced Search feature of the "Member" button in the tool bar above.
Enter FL and go to the bottom of the page for the sort options.

State sort is available in TBN Member Registry.

Tom, go to Members in the blue nacigation bar that is near the top of the page. Click on it and a list of all the members will appear. Go to the right hand side of the page and click on Search Members then click on Advance Search. Scroll down to State and enter the state you want to look in. Click Search and the members will appear that are from that state.

It's not worth having a car registry without the car identifier. This is separate from the membership list.

BE SURE WHEN YOU ENTER YOUR T-BIRD IN THE T-bird REGISTRY THAT YOU USE THE LAST 8 DIGITS OF YOUR VIN#. This is for sorting purposes, to keep the 02s, 03s, 04s, and 05s separated.
If you messed that up in the past, you can correct it. (the tbird registry really isn't for finding out what state someone lives in - that can be done better in the Membership list)

Thanks for your reply (and the PM from Sally in Texas). Very helpful. I found what I wanted.

There is ALWAYS an answer on TBN, for whatever you need to know. Good job!!

                                Re: Register Your Thunderbird!

Just finished looking at "Brokern Wings". Has anyone put together a list of the VIN's, Year, Color, etc. of those that have been scraped and sold for parts. We are only 6 (72 months) to 10 years (120 months) into record keeping (registering owners, etc.). I keep reading coments such as - "...now our Birds are geting more valuable." Such a record for "007", Cashmeres, Inca Gold, etc. would really be valuable.
