Don't want all to wait too long, therefore I changed plans and decided to start up production whenever I am close to 10 models. That means I will begin with Inca and Cashmere.

Frits, I'm sure if you build 15 with 10 sold the balance would be gone at even higher price on ebay! There are alot more Tbirds out there than members here!

If all works out ok, I will bring two models with me to ChooChoo.
It will be the first Inca and first Cashmere models.
Unfortunately it will be impossible for me to bring all ordered items for these two colors.
I simply cannot pack them in my luggage.

I am aware that a number of members that ordered these two colors will be present at ChooChoo. In my opinion it would be unfair if I handed these models to either one of you while others cannot have the benefit of saving shipping cost.

Therefore I decided to donate these first two to be auctioned at ChooChoo for the benefit of TBN.
I will hand them to David and Jeannie. Bidding ofcourse will start at $150.

Tomorrow I will be picking up a special item that I have not mentioned before. I asked a German model maker to mold the special 50th Anniversary badge to replace the hasmarks on the 2005 colors. It will be on both Inca and Cashmere as well on the Bronze, MSB and if desired on the Platinum Silver.

As soon as I have the first two cars ready I will post images of the finished beauties.
The rest of the Inca's and Cashmeres will be finished and shipped out to you when I return from ChooChoo.
After that I will start production on at least two other colors. These will be ready within two weeks later.

Slight change of plans. I will only bring the Inca to ChooChoo. I picked up both painted models today, but I am not sure about the color on the Cashmere. Therefore I have not put it together. Will bring a few parts to compare with the real car, but no more.

The Inca looks great however and I just finished the first model. Quite a job, but worth it. It will be handed to David and Jeannie to be auctioned at ChooChoo Thunder.

Had also planned to pick up the 50th Anniversary badges this weekend, but they were not ready yet. Therefore this Inca model will stil be equiped with the usual hash marks. But no worry, they can be swopped out lateron when badges are ready.

Debbie, Frits is still waiting for the 50th anniversary blades to arrive before he can complete the Incas. The Inca above does not have them on it as he had wanted to have an example here in the states to check color so brought the model to the Chattanooga Choo Choo event to auction off. It'll be another few weeks before the blades arrive and then whatever time he needs to complete the models. I'm sure he'll let you know when he's ready to mail them on.

Thanks for ordering the Inca. Like Dot already mentioned I am waiting for the blades to arrive, I hope to have them in later this week. The Inca's will be ready by next week and I will start shipping them as soon as possible.
As soon as do I will let you know the info about payments.

To all: Since the Cashmeres are already painted I cannot take more orders for them. In other words, the Cashmere is sold out with the 12 orders that are now listed. I am very sorry, but I cannot have a single car sprayed for the same cost as offered.

Frits, can you post in the first message that Cashmere is sold out or have BirdWings change the poll entry for the Cashmere to reflect that it is sold out?

FRITZ, CAN YOU CHECK AND SEE IF I ORDERED A CASHMERE, IF I DID I WILL LET A REAL CASHMERE OWNER HAVE MINE. NOW THAT I HAVE THE 1:1 SCALE INCA GOLD, I WILL NOT BE BUYING A 1:1 SCALE CASHMERE. RON
