How could they know it went 183 when the speedometer only shows 160mph as top speed.?

GPS? If they hit bottom (of what I would not know), I doubt that they would survive to tell us.

I have only gone 100 mph. Wanted to see (occasionally still do ) how fast it will accelerate from 80 mph to 100 mph. Reasonably surprised how quickly those 280 horses get it moving from 80 mph. Faster than I'll ever need to drive. Still cruises very well at 80 mph for extended periods.

Thinking he was thinking of a similarity to Thelma and Louise's last trip!

The theoretical top speed (without a governor) is 154 mph. If I am remembering correctly, the governor has a limit of 140.

Probably 95 passing somebody but try to keep it below 80 on the interstates.

Black Beauty, the airport thingy got me thinking. The Thunderbirds were at the air show in Wichita last September and last time I saw them I thought there were some Thunderbird cars to support the crew. Guess what they had this year? How about some Grand Caravans! What a let down.
