    53rd! 1957?

Great car year from a design standpoint.

Wow. I thought my 43rd was huge, but you win.

    Congrats.

Atlanta - south on Peachtree St. to North Avenue and into the VARSITY DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT. This was where on one night, my best friend was following me in his 1958 Chev. Impala and rearended me leaving the parking lot.The problem was I was in my uncle's new 1960 Thunderbird he had left in my care while he was out of town.

Callahan's hot dog stand, rt 9W, Fort Lee, NJ.

Half mile north of Palisades Amusement Park, home of the Tunnel Of Love where, at age 15 in 1958, I had my first prolonged make out session.

Wanted to ride that ride all night, or as long as my quarters held out.

(Pat, where are you now? Call me at 555-111-5555. We'll do lunch.)

Jerry: I cruised Bergenline Avenue also, but Central Ave. Jersey City was our secondary cruise Street.

When I forgot all about the library, I drove to the hamburger stand.

Charles, did you also hit the White Manor on Tonnele Ave?

What years were you cruising Bergenline Ave?

Sometimes, we'd park, grab a bench around 70th street and Bergenline Ave (Guttenberg) and watch the car show ride by.

Or, we'd join the motorheads standing outside Shirley's Diner in West New York and talk carbs/rear ends for hours..

Heading north on B/Line, we'd U-turn using the White Castle parking lot in North Bergen.
