    Re: MECUM AUCTION,INDY

There are currently a few offers at cars.com as follows:

    03 18 mi $39,900
    04 246 mi 37,995
    02 1725 mi 28,995
    02 2551 mi 27,955

Evidently, there is a price curve based in part upon very low to nil mileage.

The bigger picture is that all of this is very encouraging.

                  Re: MECUM AUCTION,INDY

I agree with the "No Sale" as the reserve will not be met....But the bidding should get into the low to mid 30's on this car as auction prices are moving up on our cars.

So the original owner bought it, stored it, didn't enjoy it and lost at least $2,000 + auction fees over 10 years??? What a waste.

Yeah, but think of all the fun he had dusting it off, taking the car cover on and off, not to mention all the money he saved on gas and oil.

                            Priceless.

Heck, not every investment pays off.

(Now, where have I heard that before?)

But what is one like my 2002, with 32,000 miles on it worth at auction? Now that would be interesting to know.

A friend of mine just bought an '02 on ebay exactly like this one with 50,000 miles, perfect shape, he couldn't be happier, $15,900!
