A quick glimpse of a White Retro in oncoming traffic on Garland Rd (E Dallas, TX) yesterday about 1:30 PM. Thought it might be the our friends, the Higdon's, but it wasn't. Almost turned around to chase it down, but traffic was too heavy, and I'd have had a hard time catching her. I was in CARTOY, but she didn't see us.

As a side note: When I dropped off a friend at the Airport that same morning, the guy at the bag check commented that he didn't see many of our Birds around. He commented that the Birds are bound to become Collectibles. I didn't comment on that, but thanked him for his appreciation of our fine cars!

Saw a red 03/04 I had not seen before around town, in Research Park where I work. It was part of the morning commute traffic, and had AL plates that said TREQ II. Will try to track them down next week and leave a card.

Goldi & I were out in Greenbrier this afternoon and an '02 blue with white hardtop turned in front of me from Gb Pkwy to Volvo Pkwy...couldn't see it if was someone I know. I always love to see a 2-toned Bird!

On my way down to Troy, AL on US231 to see my son's college graduation ceremony yesterday, and saw on the opposite side of the road: A 007 edition and a torch red. Then saw a Merlot with sand softtop in Troy, parked in one of the university parking lots. We were in the SportsTrac, so even though we waved and blinked the lights, we didn't get any response back. All very nice looking cars...

Thanks! BA degree in Anthropology, with a minor in archaeology. He has been on several of the Indian villiage digs around here in the South; next week he starts a 28-week internship with University of South Alabama, digging and cataloging artifacts. He's a great kid...smart, self sufficient, still single, with no worries in the world. We're very proud of him. Ah, to be young and own the world again....!

I was watching My Classic Car this morning on the Speed Channel (I am sure it was a re-run) but Denis Gage was showing how easy it was to install the Battery Tender connections to his 02 Thunderbird Blue RetroBird.

Appears to a be a beautiful low milage vehicle....but then again, all of his cars are beautiful.

Watched this old re-run as well this morning and they did everything just right (almost). They put in the permanent pig tail that can be plugged into the battery tender with the male/female plug. The positive wire was easy to do at the clamp, but the negative, where the cable goes to metal wheel well panel beside the battery, they took out the screw and lost ground. Should have put a jumper from negative post to ground before undoing the ground connection at body. Just my observation. I put one in the '03 bird this week and good to go for winter storage.

Just got back from taking my SIL & MIL to the airport and coming home I saw a triple EB (with f.o.p. license) and a DSB (no hardtop) with Texas plates.

2002 TBird blue parked in the Ridgewood shopping district (Chestnut Street) at 1:30 PM.

Red 2002 parked next to Harbor Freight on Edinger and McFadden in Huntington Beach Ca. LIC # KTT BIRD. I was getting stuff for my hoist.

I'm down here in sunny Stuart Florida (72 degrees today - sunny blue sky with a mild breeze) and so far spotted a PCR, Torch Red and a Thunderbird blue.

Paradise ends tomorrow when we have to drive back to winter in Chicago.

Oh well, it was wonderful seeing Laura and enjoying Christmas with her family.
